Lenovo Yoga C630 Review

Lenovo’s Yoga C630 is a unique laptop right out of the box. Why so? Well, unlike other laptops that run on Intel or AMD powered processors, the Yoga C630 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. You read it right people, it runs on a Snapdragon 850 chipset. Well, many other laptops have tried using mobile chipsets before and frankly speaking most of them didn’t turn out well but this, this Lenovo Yoga C630 just might be the one. The yoga C360 is available in the US for a price of about $550 but this is not the case for the UK. The laptop costs a lot more in the UK as compared to the US and many other countries but should you spend $550 on a laptop that runs on a chipset used in mobiles? Well here’s our full review for Lenovo’s Yoga C630.

 Design and Features

The Lenovo Yoga C630 really has a simple yet premium design. Since there are no fans integrated into the motherboard for cooling purposes the laptop is considerably thin and lightweight as compared to many other 2-in-1 laptops. On the back of the lid is the yoga logo positioned at the corner of the lid. The deck is also quite spacious, the deck houses the keyboard, the speakers, the trackpad and the fingerprint reader. The keyboard has a normal layout, it lacks the Number pad but then again most of the laptops these days have started skipping number pads just like the phones are skipping headphone jacks. The keys are big and quite spacious. The keystrokes feel just fine as well. You can get great discount on electronic devices online using Croma Coupons.

The track pad is located at the bottom of the deck, its enough large and works smoothly. For additional security, a fingerprint scanner is given which is located at the bottom right on the deck. There are two stereo speaker grills on the deck, both on either side of the keyboard. On the right side of the laptop are the Power button, 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port while on the left side of the laptop is another USB Type-C port but this one can also be used for charging and a Sim card slot. Talking about the display, the display is a 13.3 Inches Full HD touchscreen panel. The side bezels on the laptop are minimal, the top chin is a bit big and houses the webcam in the center while the bottom chin is quite big probably 3 times the size of the top chin. The laptop weighs about 1.2 Kg and measures around 12.5 mm in thickness.

Performance and Specifications

The Lenovo Yoga C630 can be bought either with 4 GB of RAM or with 8 GB of RAM and it’s not just the RAM there are also two storage options available as well namely a 128 GB of flash storage or a 256 GB of flash storage and no matter what RAM or storage you buy it with the rest of specifications will remain the same. As mentioned earlier, the laptop comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 chipset which is clocked at about 2.9 GHz. As for the GPU, the Yoga C630 has an Adreno 630 GPU which is also seen in mobiles. There is a sim card slot given on the laptop which means you can stay connected to the internet always. The laptop doesn’t offer any other storage option rather than 256 GB or 128 GB so you might have to buy an external storage unit if you need more storage. Now that we have covered most of the specifications of this laptop, let’s talk about the Performance and let’s be real here for a second. There is no way that a laptop that a laptop with a mobile comute chipset could ever compete with other laptops which are powered by Intel processors or AMD ones but yes if we take a look at the market of the laptops which are running on Snapdragon chipsets, the Lenovo yoga C630 is probably one of the best out there. The day to day performance on this laptop is quite smooth but it definitely isn’t something made for gaming or other heavy stuff. One thing that the Lenovo Yoga C630 does excel at is its battery life and that is. It should get you through a whole without any need of putting it to charge. The Yoga C630 is one of the best laptops in the market in terms when it comes to battery life. According to the claims made by Lenovo, the laptop should give you about 25 hours of battery life depending upon your usage.  Moreover if you are looking for CLRI recruitment then it could be the best chance to try it

the Lenovo Yoga C630 is definitely a good laptop and if you’re looking for a laptop that is thin, lightweight, has a great battery life, looks premium we suggest you buy the Lenovo Yoga C630 however if you’re looking for a laptop that can do most of the stuff a laptop should be able to do and perform well we suggest to look for other laptops that come with dedicated GPUs and better CPUs than the Lenovo Yoga C630.
