Steps for Creating a Linksys Cloud Account

When you creating the cloud account for the first time it is recommended that your computer or a laptop is connected properly to the wireless router with the help of an Ethernet cable to associate your new account with the Linksys smart WiFi router.
Open a browser and enter the default IP address of your wireless router in the Address bar filed and hit [ENTER] in order to access the login and setup page.
Click on “Click here” link.
Create an account with necessary information like email address, username, password, etc.
Once done, you have to read and accept the “End User License Agreement, Terms of Service”, and “Privacy Statement” and after that, you have to click on “Create My Account”.
As soon as you are done with step 4 you will receive an email that asks for “activate your account”.
Verify and check your email and after that, you have to open the message from the Linksys smart WiFi mailer.
Important Note: In case you failed to find the message in your Inbox, then it is recommended to check the junk, trash, or Spam folders. Moreover, if you haven’t received or deleted the message yet, dial a toll-free number 1-844-726-2255 and get a valuable solution to all your queries.

Activate your account and click the link in the email you have received to activate the just created by you. This will redirect you to the Linksys smart WiFi setup page.
The “account is now validated” you can clearly see this message now. Here, you just have to click on the “here” link and log in.
Important Note: You can also click the Login button as well that is situated at the upper corner of the displayed window.
Log in: Fill in the Linksys cloud account email address and password and click on Sign In button.
Associate Router: Associate your smart WiFi router with your account by entering the main router’s administrative password in the provided space. Once done, click on OK.
A Few Beneficial Notes:
- The login details (username and password) for your router are set as default. In case you have changed the, use the current credentials instead.
- Router association can be done only when you are connected to your home network properly. Remotely associating your account is not possible.
Moreover, if you experience several log in attempts and failed again and again, then this may lead your account suspended temporarily.
